Martin Sheehan-Stross, Founder and CEO

A Bay Area native, Martin Sheehan-Stross previously held the positions of lead sommelier at Michael Mina and beverage director at Wayfare Tavern.
In 2016 Martin was named the World’s Best Young Sommelier by the Chaine de Rotisseurs. The year prior, Martin won the Guild of Sommeliers TopNewSomm national competition. Also in 2015, Martin was named one of Wine and Spirits Magazine’s Best New Sommeliers in America.
Before starting SipSend, Martin co-founded Foot of the Bed Cellars, a local wine company focused on introducing consumers and corporate clients to emerging wineries around California.
Miranda Elliot, Sommelier
Miranda Elliot is an Advanced Sommelier with over 10 years of experience working for a wide range of Chicago restaurants, such as Moto Restaurant, Les Nomades, Oceanique, and Maple & Ash.
Miranda has competed in numerous wine competitions, winning the regional competition twice for the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Young Sommelier Competition, winning the Languedoc Somm Challenge, and receiving a top score in the GuildSomm Online Competition.
She also served as Education Director and Sales Associate for Connoisseur Wines and as Illinois Sales Manager for Martine's Wines.
Miranda has since gone on to launch her own wine school, Elliot Wine School.
Eduardo Bolaños, Sommelier
Eduardo Bolaños began his wine career in Beverly Hills, CA under the tutelage of the Spago Beverly Hills Wine Director, Chris Miller.
Working at Spago, Eduardo assisted in building the wine cellar that won the Wine Spectator “Grand Award” in 2010. He went on to work for top restaurants in Los Angeles: Pizzeria Mozza and Chi Spacca.
In 2012 he spent time abroad working the wine harvest in Spain, while working as a sommelier at three-star Michelin restaurants Arzak and Akelare. In 2014 he became an Advanced Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers.
Eduardo currently works as a sommelier at Antico Nuovo in Los Angeles as well as a retail buyer for Wine House LA.
